White Sox 5k

Put your socks and sneakers to the test! We invite you to join us at Guaranteed Rate Field for our annual White Sox 5K presented by IL Corn Growers Association on Saturday, June 22 beginning at 9:00 a.m.

Racers will cross the finish line on Guaranteed Rate Field, followed by a post-race party on the concourse. Can’t make it to the stadium? Join us from home by registering for the virtual race option!

Chicago White Sox Charities is committed to making Chicago a better place to live, work and play beyond the diamond. CWSC is focused on promoting youth education and advancement, sharing the love of the game through youth baseball initiatives, assisting children and families in crisis and championing those battling cancer.

After crossing the finish line, head up to the outfield concourse to enjoy a celebratory beer (21+) on us, visit with our vendors, and enjoy the ballpark view. Additional food and beverage will be available for purchase.

Where does the race take place?

The 2024 White Sox 5k will be held inside Guaranteed Rate Field and its surrounding parking lots. The start line will be located in Lot B and the finish line will be located on the outfield warning track inside the ballpark. The post-race party will follow immediately in the outfield concourse.

How do I pick up my shirt and bib?

Packet pick up will be available at select local Fleet Feet locations before race day. Runners will receive packet pick up instructions after registration closer to race day. If you’d rather have your packet mailed directly to you, select the “Packet Mailing” option during the registration process.

How do I fundraise?

Runners will receive information on how to set up their fundraising pages via email after registration. Runners are not required to set up a fundraising page to participate in the White Sox 5k. Click here for any additional fundraising questions.

Is parking provided?

Yes – parking will be free for all racers and spectators. Runners will receive parking directions after registration and closer to race day.

Can I bring a bag?

There will be gear check on-site. However, we encourage racers to only bring the essentials including phone, wallet, identification, keys, etc.

Can I bring a pet?

Pets will not be allowed to join the race or enter the ballpark.

Can I bring a stroller?

For the safety of our racers, strollers are not permitted in the race.

Can my friends or family come to cheer me on?

Friends and family who are not participating in the race are welcome to come cheer on their racers. They are also welcome to stay and enjoy the post-race party. Runners will receive more information for their guests after registration and closer to race day.

When does the post-race party end?

The post-race party will end at 12:00 p.m.

What will my credit card statement say after I purchase?

The 2024 White Sox 5k registration will appear on your credit card statement as a charge from EnMotive, the production company of this race.

Does the event take place on a specific date?

The 2024 White Sox 5k takes place on Saturday, June 22, 2024. You can complete your race anytime, anywhere before race day.

Can I participate if I don't live/will not be in Chicago during race days?

Yes! Anyone, anywhere can participate in the virtual run/walk. Participants can customize the course to best fit their local area. (Limited to continental USA)

Is there an age requirement to participate in the Virtual Run/Walk?

There is no minimum age requirement to participate in the virtual run/walk.

What will my credit card statement say after I purchase?

The 2024 White Sox 5k registration will appear on your credit card statement as a charge from EnMotive, the production company of this race.

How do I fundraise?

How do I submit my results and photos?

1. Login to your EnMotive account.
2. Click 'Registrations' on the left black toolbar once logged in.
3. Click the three black dots in the upper right corner of the registration you need to log results for and click 'Log Results'
4. Once you have submitted your results, click 'View Post-Race Experience' where you can then download your Finisher Certificate and upload your photos.

Will I receive the virtual run swag if I can't complete the race?

Yes – all registered participants will receive the virtual run swag regardless of run completion. You do not need to report your race time to receive your swag. You will receive tracking information as soon as your packet has been shipped, within 1-2 weeks after the June 22 race.
