Kids Run The ShowHey kids, ever wanted to run the show at an Angels game? Well now you can by entering the 7th annual Kids Run the Show Sweepstakes presented by California Pizza Kitchen & Alberstons. On Saturday, June 13th fans between the ages of 5-18 can win fantasy prizes! Purchase any CPK frozen pizza at Albertsons and be automatically entered to win with your Rewards card. Alternative form of entry can be obtained at Angel Stadium.

Winners will receive the following:

  • Four (4) tickets and parking to the game
  • Recognition on the field during pre-game ceremony and featured on the Angel Stadium video board during their respective activity

Description of fantasy baseball prizes:

  • (1) Honorary Bat Kid (limited to ages 6-13)
    One child will be recognized on video board and PA during pre-game activities on the day of game in full uniform. Child will also sit in Angels dugout during pre-game warm-up and interact with players.
  • (1) Official Play Ball Announcer (limited to ages 5-13)
    One child will start the game with the official "Let's Play Ball" announcement. Child will be recognized on video board and PA.
  • (1) Guest PA Announcer (limited to ages 5-18)
    One child will be chosen for a half-inning performing the duty of announcing the Angel players as they come up to bat during a pre-selected half-inning.
  • (1) Guest Radio Broadcaster (limited to ages 5-18)
    One child will be chosen to accompany radio broadcasters in the broadcast booth for an innings during the game and get a behind-the-scenes look at how a radio broadcast is conducted. Child will be recognized "over-the-air" during his/her visit.
  • (1) Guest Game Camera Operator (limited to ages 9-18)
    One child will be chosen to serve as a guest game camera operator from a pre-selected stadium camera location. Child's work will be featured on the video board and PA during an inning break.
  • (1) Guest Strike Force Member (limited to ages 6-18)
    One child will be chosen as an honorary "Strike Force" team member during pre-game activities. Winner will be provided with a Strike Force uniform and accompany the Angels' Strike Force on the field to assist with pre-game guest interaction activity.
  • (1) Guest Groundskeeper (limited to ages 11-18)
    One child will be chosen to assist the Angel Stadium grounds crew during an inning break when they "drag-the-field." Winner will be recognized assisting grounds crew members on video board and PA announcement.
  • (7) Take the Field with the Angels (limited to ages 5-18)
    Seven lucky winners will be chosen to "take the field" with the Angels (one per position, excluding the starting pitcher and catcher).
  • (1) Guest TV Broadcaster (limited to ages 7-18)
    One child will be chosen to accompany Angel broadcasters in the broadcast booth for an inning during the game and get a behind-the-scenes look at how a tv broadcast is conducted. Child will be recognized "over-the-air" during his/her visit.

2009 KIDS RUN THE SHOW SWEEPSTAKES
OFFICIAL RULES

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY.
Sweepstakes begins May 1, 2009 and ends May 25, 2009.

1. HERE'S HOW TO ENTER: Beginning 12:01 AM (Pacific Time) on May 1, 2009 through 11:59 PM (Pacific Time) on May 25, 2009, when you purchase any of the California Pizza Kitchen Frozen Pizzas and present your Albertsons Preferred Savings Card at a participating Albertsons store in Southern California, you are automatically entered. Limit one entry per person, per day. The purchase of product does not increase the chances of winning.

2. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY: To enter without purchase, on a plain piece of 3" x 5" paper, hand print your complete name, street address (no P.O. Boxes), city, state, zip code, age plus daytime and evening telephone numbers. Mail your entry in a hand addressed #10 envelope with first-class postage affixed, to: 2009 Kids Run The Show Sweepstakes, Angels Baseball, 2000 Gene Autry Way, Anaheim, CA 92806. Entries must be postmarked by May 25, 2009 and received by May 30, 2009. Mail-in envelopes larger than a standard #10 envelope will be automatically disqualified. No photocopies or mechanical reproductions are permitted. Void where prohibited.

3. ELIGIBILITY: 2009 Kids Run the Show Sweepstakes is open to legal residents of California (and excluding where otherwise prohibited by law, rule or regulation) who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry (each, a "Participant"). Void where prohibited by law. Employees, officers and directors (including immediate family members and members of the same household) of Kraft Foods, through its Frozen Pizza division, SUPERVALU INC. ("SuperValu"), (Kraft Foods and SuperValu collectively, the "Sponsors"), the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim the other MLB Entities and each of their respective subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies are not eligible to participate. The "MLB Entities" shall mean the Office of the Commissioner of Baseball, its Bureaus, Committees, Subcommittees and Councils, MLB Advanced Media, L.P. ("MLBAM"), Major League Baseball Enterprises, Inc., Major League Baseball Properties, Inc. (doing business in its own name and as Major League Baseball Productions), Tickets.com, Inc., SportsOnEarth, LLC, the Major League Baseball Clubs, and each of their subsidiaries or affiliated entities, any entity which, now or in the future, controls, is controlled by, or is under common control with the Major League Baseball Clubs or the Office of the Commissioner of Baseball, and the directors, officers and employees of the above entities. All federal, state, and local laws apply. This sweepstakes may not be published in any sweepstakes magazines, flyers or elsewhere without written permission of the Sponsors.

4. PRIZES: Fifteen (15) Grand Prize Winners will be selected to designate a child between the ages of 5-18 to participate in a Fantasy Rewards position at the Angels Baseball game at Angel Stadium on June 13, 2009. Fantasy reward positions selected at random include: Honorary Bat-kid (ARV: $556), Take the Field with the Angels (seven winners)(ARV: $456 each), Honorary PA Announcer (ARV: $356), Honorary Radio Broadcaster (ARV: $356), Honorary Game Camera Operator (ARV: $206), Honorary Groundskeeper (ARV: $206), and Honorary Strike Force Member (ARV: $206), Honorary TV Broadcaster (ARV: $356), Honorary Playball Announcer (ARV: $356). Each winner will also receive four Upper View Tickets, one general parking pass and on-field pre-game ceremony recognition for winner and guardian. This value has been incorporated into the above prize ARVs. The child designated by the winners must be between 5 and 18 years of age by June 13, 2009. The child's parent or guardian must sign a parental consent form and provide proof of child's age. If any Grand Prize winners do not designate a child who will participate in the positions, the winners will receive only the four (4) tickets to the Angels game at Angel Stadium on June 13, 2009. If the June 13, 2009 Angels game is declared a rainout, or otherwise cancelled for any reason, an alternate game date will be determined by the Angels, for the prize not fulfilled on June 13, 2009. Sponsors are not responsible for cancellations or postponements. Limit one prize per family/household. Odds of winning will depend upon the number of eligible entries received. All claimed prizes will be awarded. Major League Baseball game and exhibition dates and times are determined in the sole discretion of the Office of the Commissioner of Baseball and/or the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim, as applicable, and may be subject to change. The terms and conditions of the tickets awarded as prizes will govern in the event a legal game, as defined by Major League Baseball, is not played due to weather, an act of God, an act of terrorism, civil disturbance or any other reason. Sponsors and the applicable MLB Entities reserve the right to remove to or to deny entry to winner and/or guest who engages in a non-sportsmanlike or disruptive manner, or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person at the game or exhibition. The MLB Entities and Sponsors will not be responsible for acts of God, acts of terrorism, civil disturbances, work stoppage or any other natural disaster outside their control that may cause the cancellation of Major League Baseball games or exhibitions.

5. WINNER SELECTION: A random drawing will be held on or about June 2, 2009 to select the winners from among all eligible entries. Grand Prize Winner will be notified by mail or phone on or about June 5, 2009. Grand Prize Winners shall designate a child between the ages of 5-18 to accept the Grand Prize. Winners, and the parents or guardians of the selected children shall be required to sign a notarized affidavit of eligibility and a publicity/liability release, which must be completed and returned within three (3) days from the date of notification. Prizes will be awarded to alternate winner if affidavit is not returned or if any prize notification is undeliverable. Except where prohibited by law, acceptance of a prize constitutes consent by the winners, and the parents or guardians of the designated child's to the use of their, or their child's, name and/or likeness in any promotional activities in any and all mediums relating to this drawing without further compensation.

6. GENERAL RULES: By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the judges and Sponsors as final and binding in all matters pertaining to the sweepstakes. By participating in this sweepstakes and/or accepting a prize, entrants, winners, and the parents or guardians of the designated child, agree to hold Sponsors, the MLB Entities, participating media, and each of their respective directors, officers, employees and assigns, harmless against any and all claims and liability arising out of use of prize or participation in the sweepstakes. Winners, and the parents or guardians of the designated child, assume all liability for any injury or damage caused, or claimed to be caused, by participation in this promotion or use or redemption of any prize. No substitution or transfer of prize permitted, except that Sponsors reserve the right to award a prize of comparable value at their sole discretion. All federal, state and local taxes are the sole responsibility of winners. All federal, state and local laws apply. Winners are responsible for all transportation and other expenses incurred as a result of attending and traveling to and from the game.

Sponsors and the MLB Entities are not responsible for lost, late, damaged, delayed, incomplete, illegible, mutilated or misdirected entries, postage-due mail, entries not received in time for random drawing or for electronic, network or computer/scanner failures or malfunctions, cards scanned incorrectly, or other technical errors of any kind. Sponsors reserve the right to cancel or modify the sweepstakes if fraud, misconduct or technical failures destroy the integrity of the sweepstakes or if a computer virus, bug, or other technical problem corrupts the administration, security, or proper administration of the program as determined by Sponsors/judging agency/administrator, in their sole discretion. Sponsors reserve the right at their sole discretion to disqualify any individual they find to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the game. Any use of robotic, automatic, programmed or the like methods of participation will void all submissions by such methods. All materials submitted become the sole property of Kraft Foods and will not be returned.
